I'm back! (and have been for a while...)

Sorry it's taken me so long to post!  We had an incredible time on our trip to Europe, I am now 30, Lilly and I have been to Maine, and we've now settled into the oppressive humidity in Connecticut.  I'll post again soon with more about our trip, some pictures and some Lilly updates.  

Bon Voyage

Just a quick update post...

We had a really fun visit with Jen and Lauren last weekend.  Jen was so great to come all the way out here by herself and we loved every minute of it.  We got some great pictures, but I only have time to post one.  I'll put more up when we're back from our trip.

Speaking of which, we leave for Spain today!  On Wednesday morning Lilly and I headed out to Denver.  I left her there with Mike's parents and flew back here on the red eye.  She is happily ensconced there, we talked to her last night and she was watching The Little Mermaid and eating a chip, so I'd say things are going well for her :)  My Uncle Bill came and picked Addie up - they were heading up to Maine for the weekend and then she'll go back home with him.  Bill told us that she's already been to the beach twice and is a happy girl.

Now that everyone is settled, we head out today!  We leave from Boston, and then take the red eye to Barcelona from New York.  Our cruise leaves from Barcelona tomorrow, with stops in France and Italy.  Then we're back in Barcelona on the 12th and we'll drive up to see Mike's aunt Janis and uncle Jacques in Nice.  And then we come back here on the 15th.  Well, I do.  Mike flies on to Denver to visit with his parents and bring Lilly home.

By the time I'm back I'll be 30!  I used to think 30 was just ancient, but I've definitely been rethinking that lately :)
